Moele is
al vanaf sy hoërskool dae ’n skrywer. Hy studeer tans deur
Unisa en woon in Pretoria. Moele se eerste boek, Room
207, is uitgegee in 2006. Dit was ondermeer op die kortlys vir
die Statebond-toekenning vir Beste Eerste Boek (Afrika) in 2007.
Dit was ook medewenner van die Universiteit van Johannesburg-prys
vir kreatiewe skryfwerk in die debuutkategorie, asook medewenner
van die Herman Charles Bosman-prys vir Engelse letterkunde
gedurende dieselfde jaar. Room
207 verskyn ook in Frans en in Italiaans. Sy tweede boek, The
Book of the Dead, is in 2009 deur Kwela Boeke uitgegee.

Moele
has been a writer since he started high school. He currently lives
in Pretoria, and is studying through Unisa. Moele’s debut novel,
Room 207, was published
by Kwela Books in 2006. It was short-listed for the Commonwealth
Writer’s Prize for Best First Book (Africa) in 2007. It was the
joint-winner of the Herman Charles Bosman Prize for English
fiction as well as joint-winner of the University of Johannesburg
Prize for Creative Writing in the debut category. Room
207 also received an honourable mention in the English
category of the M-Net Book Prize. It has been translated into
French and Italian. His second book, The
Book of the Dead, was published by Kwela Books in 2009.
